FREE GIVEAWAY: Comfortably Yum by Allison Rivers Samson

Congratulations to Rebecca Chartrand for winning a copy of Robin Robertson’s ONE-DISH VEGAN!

This week I’m very happy to share another great giveaway with my readers. I’ve got 2 FREE copies of Comfortably Yum, a new e-cookbook from Allison Rivers Samson of Allison’s Gourmet. A little bit of background, Allison is a fantastic vegan chef who was behind the popular Veganize It! column in VegNews magazine. I was Allison’s editor at the magazine and on this cookbook.

As a huge fan of her recipes, I can attest to the deliciousness of each recipe. The Clam-free Chowder completely won me over with its smoky flavor and use of oyster mushrooms to replace clams. The 10 recipes in Comfortably Yum are a great way to try new vegan comfort-food recipes using whole food ingredients. Who knew chickpeas could be so versatile to make cheese? Only Allison!

To enter this giveaway, please leave your name, email, and which recipe from Comfortably Yum that you’re most excited to try. I’ll announce 2 winners on 12/23. Good luck!

  1. Hey Jenn! Shows how out of the loop I am—I didn’t even know Allison is coming out with a book. How exciting! I would love to enter to win a copy. Those tuna melts sound pretty yummy, but I want to try all of the recipes. Thanks for holding the giveaway 🙂

  2. I’m most excited to try the beet burgers – I’ve never made my own burgers before, but have been wanting to get away from the store bought varieties for something more fresh and healthy. I love the way beets sweeten the patty. The magic mac ‘n cheese is a close second, because, come on. It’s mac ‘n cheese! 🙂

  3. everything looks amazing, but I have a sweet tooth, and the photo of the Chocolate Salted-Caramel Pudding Parfaits is so gorgeous, I need to try those!

  4. If I had to pick ONE, I’d choose the Vegan Egg Salad. I’m always curious how people sub their eggs. I love beets so if I could choose a second recipe, it would be the Beet Burgers. I think I NEED this book! Thanks for the chance.

  5. They all sound really good but if I had to pick two I’d say the Clam-free Chowder and the Chocolate Salted-Caramel Pudding Parfaits. I really miss caramel!
